The murder-mystery game you can play in your own office
Terrible news! Watson Adventures game host David Park was on his way to your office to lead a team-building activity today, but a killer had other plans for your group. David was found dead in the parking lot. We need your help to expose the killer and catch him before he strikes again.
We have reason to believe that David led a secret life. He created today’s game, and we suspect that there are clues in it that could help unravel the mystery of his death. We need you to go through David’s backpack of game materials and play the game.
On teams, you’ll tackle trivia questions, solve fun puzzles, and—spoiler alert!—uncover evidence of spies and skulduggery. Can your team crack a code that can stop an international incident with cataclysmic consequences? It won’t be your typical day at the office.
We’ll send you the backpack full of game materials, and a Watson Adventures host will participate via video conferencing to get the game started, as well as offer guidance and supply hints as you go along. A host can join you in person for an additional charge.
The game requires one hour and can be played in any room, when you want to provide a break for your group, ramp up the fun, and get people to bond and work together in a whole new way.
Like a pub quiz…in your own office!
This is the trivia game for people who don’t like trivia games—and for those who love trivia games. In multiple rounds, teams will tackle a variety of challenges that emphasize teamwork. Even if you think you don’t know the answer at first, a little brainstorming often produces the correct answer—or a darn good guess! It’s even more fun when your guesses pay off.
But this game involves more than just trivia questions! Our host and emcee will also guide you through visual puzzles, an audio round, a scavenger-hunt round, and an unusual final round in which you can wager points, enabling even teams far behind to catapult to victory. Along the way, you’ll discover some of your colleagues’ hidden talents and unusual expertise. Best of all, you’ll laugh as much as you ever have in your own conference or break room.
A murder-mystery version, The Killer Trivia Slam, is also available.
Office bound…for adventure!
When you want a fun, engaging scavenger hunt but you also want to stay in the office, this is the team-building game you’re looking for. You’ll rely on wits, imagination, and teamwork to sculpt, write, leap, eat, and act your way to victory.
Teams scour the office to complete such challenges as…
Take unusual Team Photos
Put your creativity and sense of fun to work as you fulfill the requirements of different “photo op” challenges. The whole team has to get into each picture, except whoever’s holding the camera, and you won’t just be standing around looking dull and bored. You might be asked to show off a team member’s hidden talent, treat a staircase like it’s a carnival ride, eat food in a surprising way, and more.
Players use their own smartphone cameras and send the images to our photo-sharing site. You’ll even get to see the other players’ pictures and download them afterward.
Find or create unusual items
This part’s like a classic scavenger hunt, where you have to locate or come up with various items. But in this version of the game, teams will be tasked with tracking down specific objects often found in office settings—and creating original stuff from scratch. Put your heads together to come up with something that’s actually made better when it’s broken, an edible(ish) state quarter, an inflatable object with your own team slogan on it, and more.
Crack a code to decipher a mystery message
In your hunt materials, you’ll stumble upon a strange, coded message. What in the world does it say? To find out, you’ll need to solve fun puzzles involving a few trivia questions, intriguing texts or e-mails, a musical phone call, and more surprises. Work together to decipher the key that unlocks the mystery message.
Does a killer lurk in the next cubicle?
Look around your office: there’s a diabolical villain in your midst. One of your colleagues turns out to be a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde—and the dark side has devised a devious game to test your talents. He or she has poisoned you and will provide the antidote only if you can identify the evil genius.
Before time runs out, you must complete a series of unusual photos challenges, solve a series of tricky puzzles, decipher coded messages, and more. Never has flirting with doom been so entertaining! If you like escape-room games, you’ll love this game.
