He had asked us to present his girlfriend with a Ring Pop (her favorite) at the end of the hunt. When she realized what was happening, he dropped to one knee and popped the question (with a real ring, of course).
Personalized Puzzles
When it comes to customizing private hunts, your options are endless. Locations, questions, even puzzles can reflect personal trivia, important life events, and more. A favorite among hunters with an announcement is our puzzle box. It can contain anything of a certain size, from a poem to a Ring Pop to a cartoon otter saying “You otter marry me,” and we’ll make sure the proper person puzzles their way through it.

Now when we say you can do almost anything, we mean it. In perhaps the most elaborate proposal this side of a viral video, the fiance-to-be asked us to create a wild custom scavenger hunt and convinced his girlfriend that it was all part of an audition for a reality game show. They hunted from the Museum of Natural History to Central Park to a rooftop party where all their family and friends awaited the couple—and the big question.
