The Ultimate Showdown Between Cats and Dogs
Kids and adults work together to chase down cats and dogs hidden in works of art throughout the Metropolitan Museum of Art. You’ll search for misbehaving hounds, a silver wild cat from the ancient Middle East, a poor pooch serving as a seat, a ferocious feline from Peru, a disturbed dog witnessing a prank, an African dog acting like a horse, hungry cats eyeing birds, and a cranky kitty being teased by terrible tots. Those are just a few of the highlights. Whoever said curiosity killed the cat never went on this scavenger hunt.
Your pack will find their enthusiasm unleashed and their tails wagging. You’d be barking mad not to enjoy it: this game is the cat’s meow for art lovers and animal lovers of all stripes.
The hunt is for ages seven and up. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, and vice versa. Advance purchase required. Click the button below to see the hunt schedule and find more fun!
All tickets include admission to the museum. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a discount to Met members because the museum explicitly tells us that participation in group events not sponsored by the museum, such as our hunts, are not a benefit of membership. The Met charges us for your participation, so museum admission must be included in every ticket we sell. Just think of it as a donation to a cause you like to support!
